Woman Armed With A Frying Pan Helps Stop A Forest Fire

Smokey Bear would be proud of Beddington's Nancy Weeks.  Armed with a frying pan she helped prevent a forest fire from spreading out of control.

According to the KJ, she used her frying pan to carry small amounts of water from a nearby pond to the fire.  Because of her quick thinking, she was able to keep the fire under control until firefighters showed up.

According to officials, the fire was ignited by an unattended campfire.
