CeCe Frey Doesn’t Want to Be ‘All By Myself’ on ‘X Factor’
There are no guarantees when it comes to ‘X Factor,’ and CeCe Frey is well aware of that. “I am in dire need of a comeback,†the contestant said during tonight’s episode (Nov. 14). “I need to remind everybody that I do have the talent to be here.â€
The singer’s passionate performance of Celine Dion’s ‘All By Myself’ earned her a mixture of responses from the judges. “I’m just at a loss for words,†commented L.A. Reid. “You sang the song really well. It’s an improvement, it really is.â€
However, Britney Spears disagreed. “Sorry, I just don’t get it,†she remarked. Simon Cowell fleshed out a similar sentiment with his own opinion of her performance. “I like you … But the song is called ‘All By Myself,’ and I think you would have been better off singing it on your own, without anyone else in the room.â€
Demi Lovato rounded out the judges’ remarks by offering emphatic praise and support. “I think that you nailed it,†she began. “I feel like they’re being way too hard on you … Out of anyone in this competition, I think you want it the most, and I hope America can see that.â€
