There are so many magical things about the Holidays - food, presents, music, religeous services...  For many, though, the most amazing thing about the Holiday season are the lights.

Our lights have come so far in a short amount of time.  In the 1820s, people were putting lit candles on their Christmas Trees (I wonder how many house fires were caused by that!).  In the 1920s, we had electric bulbs that got extremely hot (and used a lot of electricity).  Now, in the 2020s, we have LED lights that use almost no power and can be syncronized with music.  Plus, there are LED screens, projectors, and more.

Professional lighting displays are now a mixture of science and art.

That's what we've put together a list of some of the best lights displays in New England.  While some of these are put on by families who love to decorate for Christmas, others are professionally done by lighting crews.
