According to an article published by News Center Maine, the Fairfield Police Department is seeking help from the public in locating a missing child.

Police say that the Fairfield 12-year-old, Mason Bellows, hasn't been seen since Monday afternoon when he was on Front Street in Waterville.

Police say the child was last wearing a black puffy jacket. Bellows is described as 12 years old, 5'7" and 125 pounds. He is said to have brown hair and brown eyes. Fairfield police say there's a likelihood that Bellows is on an orange and black BMX type bicycle and carrying a black adidas backpack with him.

Anyone who has any information on the child's whereabouts or has potentially seen him recently, is asked to contact the Fairfield Police Department at 207.453.9321.

We will keep this story updated as more information becomes available to us.
