5 Year Old Takes on Westboro Baptist Church

A five year little girl with a lemonade stand raises money for peace, awwww, I think I love this kid. To make it better, she set up shop at Equality House right across the street from Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas.

Jayden picked Equality House as her location after her parents explained to her the significance of the house as a symbol of peace, compassion, and positive change. After being told that the church across the street had a message of hate, she set a goal of raising money to go towards a message of love and peace.

Westboro Baptist Church even tried to shut her down, but did not have much luck. Not only did she make a fair amount of money in person, her dad set up ‘Jayden’s Pink Lemonade Stand for Peace’. You can still donate. Last time I checked, she has raised over $9,200!
