Adele may have just delivered her touring swan song — unsurprisingly, though, it was beautifully delivered.

The 25 singer, who's been on the road for Adele Live since February 2016, included a handwritten note in her concert program Wednesday night (June 28) in which she spelled out a very distinct possibility that she'll never take to the road again.

"Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn't suit me particularly well," she wrote. "I'm a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus I'm dramatic and have a terrible history of touring. Until now that is!"

Still, Adele added that the experience of connecting with her fans made many of the hardships worth the effort.

"I've done 119 shows and these last four will take me up to 123, it has been hard out an absolute thrill and pleasure to have done. I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favorite artist have had on me live," she noted. "And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don't know if I'll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home. Thank you for coming, for all of your ridiculous love and kindness. I will remember all of this for the rest of my life."

Adele previously hinted in March to The New Zealand Herald that touring again was unlikely, and that applause makes her feel "vulnerable."

"I don’t know if I will ever tour again…The only reason I’ve toured is you. I’m not sure if touring is my bag. My greatest accomplishment in my career is this tour," she said.
