Pure-Fun Adult Sledding Is Back at Biddeford, Maine’s WinterFest 2026
Most of us remember sledding as kids , racing down hills, wiping out, laughing, and trudging back up to do it all over again. Then we grew up, had kids of our own, and suddenly became the ones standing at the top of the hill, holding hot chocolate while cheering from the sidelines. At Biddeford WinterFest, adults get a chance to flip the script and relive that childhood joy, just for one night.
On Friday, February 6, Biddeford WinterFest kicks off with a special adults-only sledding event on the famous Adams Street hill. From 6 to 7:30 p.m., grown-ups can grab a sled and fly down the downtown hill without worrying about nap time or bedtimes. It’s all about fun, laughter, and letting your inner kid take over for a while.
After sledding, the night doesn’t end in the cold. The ticket includes sledding, admission to Brickyard Hollow, pizza and appetizers, raffle prizes, and giveaways. Guests can head inside to warm up, grab a bite, enjoy drinks, and keep the social time going at one of Biddeford’s favorite local spots. It’s the perfect mix of outdoor excitement and cozy downtime.
