According to reports from WGME, a man was killed this afternoon when he was hit by an Amtrak Downeaster train in Falmouth.

The report said the incident occurred near Gray Road. There has been no indication if the man was in a vehicle or if there were any other injuries. Amtrak said on their Amtrak Northeast Twitter feed that train service between Brunswick and Portland will originate in Portland instead of the stations further north.
