A Vassalboro man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of the CVS on Augusta's Capitol Street on Nov. 20.

According to Augusta Police Deputy Chief Kevin Lully, detectives from the Augusta Police Department obtained a search warrant for a residence in Vassalboro, and searched the residence with the assistance of the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office.

As a result of the search, Lully said Daniel Cooley, 32, from Vassalboro, was arrested and charged with Class B robbery. He was taken to Kennebec County Jail where his bail was set at $30,000 cash.
