Maine Bikers Rally Around Bullied 9-Year-Old in Biddeford

A group of Maine bikers is continuing to rally around a young boy in Biddeford, showing him that he has plenty of people in his corner.

According to WGME, earlier this summer, members of the motorcycle group 207 Street Bike Life organized an anti-bullying ride in support of 9-year-old Jesse. The ride was meant to send a clear message that bullying should never be tolerated and that Jesse was not facing it alone.

Now, the group has taken that support one step further.

On Tuesday, bikers surprised Jesse with an ice cream party in Biddeford to help celebrate his birthday. The unexpected celebration gave Jesse another chance to spend time with the people who have been supporting him and standing up against bullying on his behalf.

Organizers say events like this are about much more than motorcycles, rides, or birthday treats. They’re about showing young people that their community cares about them and that there are adults willing to step up when someone is being treated unfairly.

The group says it also hopes its support for Jesse sends a broader message to other kids who may be experiencing bullying: they are not alone either.

For Jesse, what started as an anti-bullying motorcycle ride has now turned into an ongoing show of support from a group determined to make sure he feels seen, celebrated, and backed by his community.
