One of Central Maine’s biggest annual fundraising events is back this fall, and this year guests are being encouraged to come dressed for the occasion.

The 26th Annual Celebrity Dinner will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Augusta Civic Center, with this year’s theme being a Costume Party.

The event runs from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. and serves as a major fundraiser supporting people affected by sexual violence.

While the evening is designed to be fun, organizers say the Celebrity Dinner also has an important purpose: bringing the community together to support survivors, celebrate their resiliency and help raise awareness about sexual violence.

Guests can expect an evening of entertainment, costumes, fundraising and opportunities to support the Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center's work throughout the region.

Tickets are $60 per person, or guests can reserve a table of eight for $460.

And even if you can’t attend the dinner in person, you can still take part in the event’s silent auction remotely. Anyone interested can register for free through the event’s ticket page and place bids from home.

The Celebrity Dinner has become an important annual tradition in the Augusta area, combining a night out with a chance to support services for survivors and help fund ongoing prevention and advocacy efforts.

Again, the 26th Annual Celebrity Dinner Costume Party is happening Saturday, September 26, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center.

Tickets are available now, and more information about the event, registration and silent auction can be found through the official Celebrity Dinner website.
