The Maine State Police have arrested an Augusta man on murder charges in connection with the October death of a Richmond man.
According to Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland, Tyon Shuron, 42, of Augusta, was arrested outside his home at 7 Washington Place about 2 p.m. on Feb. 7, and charged with murder.
McCausland said Shuron is charged in connection with the death of Andrew Sherman, 48,  whose body was found inside his Richmond home on Oct. 11.  Shuron will be taken to the Two Bridges Jail in Wiscasset and will make his first court appearance in Bath Monday or Tuesday, McCausland said.
