Augusta PD Investigating Big Apple Robbery
The Augusta Police Department are investigating a robbery that occurred just after midnight on Stone Street in Augusta.
According to the Augusta Police, they received a report of a robbery at the Big Apple store at 36 Stone Street. According the caller, unidentified suspect(s) entered the store, threatened the use of a weapon and demanded an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect(s) involved fled the scene before police could arrive, and have not yet been fully identified at this time. Officers are asking anyone with information to come forward and reach out to the Augusta Police Department.
This incident remains under investigation.
