An Augusta woman has been charged in connection with a Richmond homicide last fall.

According to Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland, Chanda Lilly, 30, of Augusta was arrested on March 10.

McCausland said Lilly was arrested by State Police detectives, charged with felony murder, and taken to the Kennebec County Jail.

According to McCausland, she is the second person charged in connection with the death of Andrew Sherman, who was found dead inside his Richmond home on Oct. 11.  Detectives say Sherman likely died in late September.

According to McCausland, Tyon Shuron of Augusta, 42, was arrested on Feb. 6 and charged with murder.   Lilly will make her first court appearance in Sagadahoc County Superior Court in Bath at 11 a.m. on March 11, McCausland said.
