According to reports, Barclaycard is planning to close its Wilton call center, putting over 200 people out of work.

According to News Center Maine, the company has notified the town that it will be closing the center on March 31, eliminating 227 jobs.

The report said the Wilton Board of Selectpersons will hold a meeting on Wednesday, January 9 at 6:00 pm at the Wilton Town Office to discuss the closure and make arrangements on providing services.
