Bill Cosby's wife is coming to his defense. In a statement issued yesterday, Camille Cosby says the man who is accused by more than a dozen women of drugging and having sex with them is "a man I do not know." And she is suggesting that it's her husband who is being harmed by the allegations, not the women making the claims.

In the statement, she says, "None of us will ever want to be in the position of attacking a victim." But she says "the question should be asked, who is the victim?" It's the first time Mrs. Cosby has addressed the scandal that threatens her husband's reputation. He has had at least two major projects canceled and some of the stops on his current concert tour have been canceled.

In an interview with the New York Post, Cosby was asked how his wife was holding up with the allegations swirling around him. He attributed Camille Cosby's response to "love and the strength of womanhood."
