Say Goodbye To Booze And Hello To Fresh Clean Smoothies At This Maine Spot
Okay, alcoholic drinks are out and smoothies are in, am I right? I mean, who doesn’t want to be a healthier you? What’s that saying? Your body is a temple, treat it right. Anyway, I recently saw these smoothies, and they just looked so clean and Instagram-worthy. If these smoothie/s could be an influencer, they would be the Alix Earle of smoothies.
This hot spot is called Blake Orchard. They had two locations in Brunswick and Portland but just added a third location in Scarborough. They are completely plant-based, and according to their website, “At Blake Orchard, we source organic and local ingredients whenever possible, and we produce our juices, plant mylks, nut butters, and sauces fresh in house, most of which are made fresh daily.”
What this means for you: when dining at Blake Orchard, you are consuming a product that is made fresh to order with ingredients they truly stand behind. Their smoothie menu is top notch, and they even have huge smoothie bowls that will have you drooling. Each smoothie is topped with either chia seeds, shaved almonds, or hemp seeds. However, the Strawberry Roots smoothie is topped with bee pollen. Like… bee pollen? I need some bee in my life.

I also forgot to mention that their mylk options, like almond, cashew, or coconut, are all made in house daily.
If you’re in the mood for a smoothie bowl, their Lovers Bowl is a must. It’s made with your choice of mylk and filled with strawberries, banana, beet, almond butter, raw cacao, cinnamon, and raw honey. It’s topped with gluten-free granola, fresh berries, shredded coconut, and house-made vegan chocolate.
One review stated that the Lovers Bowl is what dreams are made of, and honestly, it’s just as pretty to look at as it is delicious.
If you’re in the Brunswick, Portland, or Scarborough areas, definitely check out Blake Orchard, you won’t be disappointed.
