New Gym Coming to Augusta Aims to Build Strength and Community
Bolfrey Fitness Studios is bringing a new approach to fitness to Augusta, Maine. Its mission is to create a welcoming environment where strength training feels approachable and people feel supported. Bolfrey describes itself as more than just a place to work out, focusing on strength, intentional movement, recovery, and community.

The studio will offer strength training, personal training, mat Pilates, strength classes, and recovery options. Its philosophy emphasizes consistent effort and sustainable progress rather than quick fixes, giving people of all experience levels an opportunity to become stronger and more confident.
Its Location
Bolfrey Fitness Studios will be located at 171 Capitol Street in Augusta, Maine. The new studio will add another fitness and wellness option for people in Maine’s capital. The space is being designed to feel comfortable and inviting, featuring warm oak flooring, textured walls, carefully selected equipment, and dedicated recovery spaces. The goal is to create an environment where members can focus on training while still feeling at home.

Another Place for People to Improve Themselves
Bolfrey also wants to build a community beyond the gym. Members will have opportunities to participate in outdoor workouts, Pilates classes, trail walks, charity runs, and other community events. By combining exercise, recovery, and social connection, Bolfrey Fitness Studios will give Augusta residents another place to improve their health, build confidence, meet others, and work toward becoming stronger versions of themselves.
