Canadian Man Takes a Trip Around the World with a Random Woman Who Has the Right Name [Video]

This would make an absolutely wonderful movie if it turned into a love story but it, allegedly, did not. Nonetheless, it is one of those things that seems quite improbable but it REALLY DID HAPPEN!

Jordan Axani of Canada purchased tickets for himself and his girlfriend, Elizabeth Gallagher, to travel to different spots around the globe. Unfortunately, the couple broke up before they went on the trip. Jordan decided he'd just cut his losses and travel alone because the person named on the ticket is the only one who can use it.

Then, while Jordan was at a party, someone suggested he try to find a woman named Elizabeth Gallagher who would want to join him on the trip. He posted on the internet that he was looking for someone to take this trip with him. The offers poured in. He chose one. Elizabeth Quinn Gallagher.

They traveled, saw sights and stayed in separate hotel rooms. See, she had a boyfriend (apparently a very understanding one) and Jordan wasn't doing this for romance. He just didn't want the ticket to go to waste. So it stayed completely (he says) platonic. He's a better man than I am.
