Why Cardi B Is ‘Scared’ to Share Photos of Baby Kulture
Cardi B isn’t quite ready to let the Internet get a glimpse of her baby girl, Kulture Kiari Cephus.
The “Money” rapper revealed the gut-wrenching reason she hasn’t yet shared a photo of the four-month-old to ET Online at the launch of her Fashion Nova X Cardi B line on Wednesday. Cardi admitted that she’s been tempted to post a picture of Kulture on Instagram, but has her reservations.
“One day, soon,” she promised. “I’m scared of sharing her to the world. There are too many mean people out there.”
Cardi, 26, told the outlet she’s absolutely in love with Kulture, whom she referred to a her “little buggy,” and wants the public to be as well, but said her safety is paramount.
“Sometimes I do want to show people how beautiful and how precious she is. She’s so precious,” she said. “There’s a lot of people that have crazy minds, you know. I want to protect her! She’s my little buggy.”
While she isn't ready to show the baby's face to the Internet, she's more than happy to let the world know what her little bundle of joy is like. As for her personality, Cardi said she thinks Kulture takes after her.
“I think she’s more me. I think she loves me a little bit more, but I think she’s just loyal to whoever gives her the milk,” she joked.
During the same event, Cardi told People magazine that even at her young age, Kulture’s got a lot going for her. In addition to being adorable, the recording artist claims she’s smart and sassy.
“She’s just getting smarter by the day,” the proud mom shared. “She’s recognizing everybody. She knows what she likes. She has attitude.” “She’s Got personality. That girl’s got personality.”

Cardi's been clear that she's in no rush to thrust Kulture into the spotlight. During an October interview with Ebro Darden on Apple Music's Beats 1 she revealed that she an husband Offset were offered a massive amount of money to share the first photo of their daughter.
"I got offered seven figures [for baby pictures], but I'm just not ready yet," she said at the time.
The award-winning musician appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live around the same time, telling host Jimmy Kimmel she just was "not mentally ready" to share photos of Kulture.
"There's certain things I want to do with my daughter. Like, I want to go to the beach with my baby, I want to take a stroll down the street with my baby. And I can't because I don't know who's next to me, or who has certain intentions," she said at the time.
"I don't wanna show my baby out to the public right now, I just want to protect her. I'm not mentally ready."
Cardi said she hasn't been able to experience doing even "normal things" with Kulture because of paparazzi.
"[But] paparazzi be everywhere, like even in my a------," she said. "I would like to do normal things with my baby, but right now I gotta keep it very low key."
