See Hundreds of ATVs Glowed Up for a Saturday Night Ride Through Waterville
Hundreds of Lights Coming Through Town
Imagine standing on Main Street after dark and seeing a huge line of ATVs and side-by-sides coming down the road covered in colorful lights. That’s what people will get to see during the Central Maine ATV Club’s 2026 Glow Ride on Saturday, August 15. The parade starts around 8:00 p.m. at the Waterville Walmart before heading through downtown.
The Riders Split Up
One of the coolest parts happens when the riders reach Spring and Bridge Street. Instead of everyone following the same route, the group splits in two. Some riders will take College Avenue toward Fairfield and the trail system, while the other group will stay in Waterville and loop through streets including Spring, Elm, Park, Pleasant, and North.
That means the glowing machines will be moving through different parts of the area at the same time, and people won’t have to crowd into one place just to see them.
Where I’d Watch
I’d probably pick Main Street in Waterville, where the viewing time is about 7:55 to 8:25 p.m. That’s early enough to see the riders while they’re still mostly together. A whole parade of glowing ATVs rolling through downtown at night is definitely the part I’d want to see.
