MAINE NEWS: Man’s Body Found Along Roadway in Kennebec County Saturday Morning

A man's deceased body was found on the side of the road in Clinton, Maine on Saturday morning.

According to WABI, a citizen that was on Silver Street in Clinton on Saturday morning noticed the deceased male and immediately called 911.

When emergency crews arrived, they found the 59-year-old man had been deceased for an undisclosed amount of time.

The man's body was then taken to the office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta, according to the news station.

At this time, police say they don't believe there is anything suspicious about the death, though the investigation is ongoing.

As of Monday morning, the identity of the man was still being withheld as police continue their investigation and work on notifying family of the death.
