One of the best things about summertime in Maine is when all those delicious and mouth-watering food trucks make their way out of their winter hibernation and begin showing up at events in our local communities.

And while you can find food trucks at many different area events throughout the summer, there is going to be a recurring series of food truck events happening just a short drive from places like Augusta, Gardiner and Lewiston/Auburn!

Our good friend Dennis Price came in to tell us all about the upcoming 'Food Truck Friday' series which will be hosted at Cumston Hall in Monmouth, home of the Theater at Monmouth.

Not only is this a really great opportunity for people to get out and have some really good LOCAL food but it's also a good chance for people to go inside and explore the historic Cumston Hall.

What's more? The Theater at Monmouth has a summer of shows from Shakespeare to Jane Austin and showtimes will coincide with the Food Truck Friday events. You'll be able to purchase tickets to shows in advance or, if there are some left, at the box office window the night of the show.

So if you're looking for something fun (and super-tasty) to do this summer, take a look at the list o' food trucks and make plans to attend when they're serving up something that tickles your fancy.
