If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to line dance without feeling like you accidentally wandered into the middle of a professional dance competition, Western View in Augusta is giving you the perfect chance this July.

Western View will be hosting line dancing lessons on the four Mondays of July from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Whether you already know a few steps or you’re the person who immediately panics when someone says “grapevine,” this is meant to be a fun and welcoming way to learn, move around, and enjoy something a little different.

Lessons are $10 each, and space is limited to the first 25 people who sign up. Payment for all four weeks is required at the time of registration, so anyone interested will want to get signed up sooner rather than later.

The lessons will be held at Western View, located at 130 Bolton Hill Road in Augusta.

Line dancing has been having a serious moment lately, and it’s easy to see why. You don’t need a partner, you don’t need to be an expert, and you definitely don’t need to take yourself too seriously. It’s just a fun excuse to get out, learn something new, and maybe impress your friends the next time a country song comes on.

To sign up, stop in at Western View in Augusta.
