What do you get when you combine an outdoor concert, food trucks, a bunch of cool giveaways and a beautiful river setting? Why you get the first of several free downtown Augusta concerts of the summer, that's what.

If you can believe it, our Waterfront Wednesday concert series is not in its 400th year. And I only say 400 because I don't actually know how long it's been going on. It is close to 30 years, that much I DO know. I remember being a kid and attending these shows while my dad hosted them.

Fast forward to 2025 and our stations, 92 Moose and B98.5, along with the City of Augusta are super-proud to be bringing more shows back to the Augusta riverfront. This year we have a pile of acts that have never played this concert series before, including our very first band of the season.

Happening on Wednesday, June 18th, Maine rock band SKOSH will be taking the big stage at Augusta's Waterfront Park from 6p to sunset.

In addition to the awesome music on Wednesday, we'll also have giveaways that include season passes to Augusta's beautiful Bicentennial Nature Park. We will also have great food on hand from the United Volunteers of Maine and Nate & Ollie's Rolled Ice Cream.

All you have to do is make plans to attend, pack your favorite camp chair or a big comfy blanket, and be sure to bring some cash along to partake in the delicious eats- we'll handle the rest.

Can't wait to see you all next Wednesday in downtown Augusta for SKOSH!
