Drake Shares His Son Adonis’ Hand Painting
Aside from a few references on his Scorpion album and an appearance on LeBron James' talk show, Drake has generally avoided speaking on his son Adonis. With that in mind, it came as kind of a surprise when Drizzy gave Adonis a shout out on Instagram earlier today (Dec. 26).
Jumping onto Insta, the"Sicko Mode" rapper posted a photo of a colorful, handmade painting from his son Adonis. In his caption for the post, Drake had some high praise for his son's handy work. "Adonis > Picasso don’t @ me 💙🎄," Drake wrote.
Since Pusha-T first told the world about Drizzy's son on "The Story of Adinon," the "Nonstop" rapper has rarely spoken about his son, save for on his Scorpion track "March 14." As we mentioned up top, though, he did make an exception when he pulled up on LeBron's HBO talk show.
"I am a single father learning to communicate with a woman who, you know, we've had our moments, right," Drake told Lebron James on his HBO Sports series The Shop. "I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened, but I don't have any desire for him to not love his mom. I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother. We found ourselves in a situation and we are both equally responsible. Now I'm just really excited to be a great father.”
As if he needed any more gifts, the Toronto native received got his Adonis painting after learning that his highly publicized tour Aubrey and the Three Migos racked up at least $79 million. Despite a handful of canceled shows, the 43-date U.S. tour sold 678,410 tickets in total.
One of the reasons why the tour might have done so well is the amount of surprise guest appearances the Scorpion rapper brought out. Over the course of three-months, Drizzy brought out the likes of Meek Mill, Chris Brown, BlocBoy JB, Travis Scott, Sheck Wes, Tory Lanez, French Montana, Yung Miami, DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne and more. Meek and C. Breezy's guest appearances drew the most attention.
