Gardiner Senior, Emma Hickey, to be Honored by the Holocaust +Human Rights Center of Maine

Gardiner Area High School Senior, Emma Hickey is being honored by the Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine for her short film about how women are portrayed in media.

Emma will be awarded the Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine’s 'Mathilda Schlossberger Outstanding Student of the Year Award' for her video, 'Drop the Mask.'

The center, at the University of Maine at Augusta, will screen the film and honor Emma at their annual meeting May 31.
