Erskine Academy alumni are being invited back to campus for a morning of food, memories, friendly competition, and school pride.

Erskine’s Annual All-Class Reunion, “Brunch & Boards,” is happening Saturday, May 30, and it’s open to alumni from all generations. The event is designed as a fun, family-friendly way for former students to reconnect with classmates, tour the school, and celebrate the Erskine community.

The day begins with a complimentary brunch at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Alumni Cornhole Tournament at 11:30 a.m. The tournament costs $15 to enter and will benefit the Alumni Scholarship Fund. Prizes will be awarded to tournament winners.

There will also be student-led campus tours, activities for children age 10 and under, and food available for purchase from OSP’s Food Truck during the cornhole tournament.

Erskine will recognize milestone classes ending in “6,” including a special 50th reunion recognition for the Class of 1976.

Pre-registration is encouraged so organizers can plan for food and activities. Alumni can register online, use the QR code on flyers available at local town offices and area stores, or call Amy Rau at the school to register by phone.

Whether you graduated five years ago or fifty, Erskine is rolling out the welcome mat.

Bring a classmate, grab a cornhole partner, and get ready to come back, catch up, and celebrate Erskine.

Creepy Maine Cryptids

Maine has everything needed to support a healthy -- and scary -- population of cryptids. The state is remote with lots of fields, forests, rivers, and lakes -- all of which can be home to the elusive creatures in the gallery below. The photos below were generated by artificial intelligence from documented descriptions of the cryptids. Come on. How else are we supposed to get photos of such elusive -- and maybe mythical? -- creatures?
