Everything You Need To Know About Gardiner’s Swine & Stein

In recent years, Mainers have really fallen in love with brewfests.  It does make sense, though.  Over the last few years, Maine has really become the place in New England for craft beer.  Not bad for a state that is mostly pine trees, right?

It almost seems like every time you turn around there is a new brewfest popping up in Central Maine.  Every town or city has one, sometimes more than one, brewfest.  Amid all of the newcomers, is the iconic Swine & Stein in downtown Gardiner.

Mimicking what you would see at Germany's Oktoberfest, a portion of Water Street is shut down for an October Saturday afternoon.  Basically, the event turns into a big street party with beer, food, and live music.

This year's event will be held from Noon to 5 on Saturday, October 8th, 2022.

Breweries in attendance include Brickyard Hollow, Absolem Cider, Blaze Brewing, Cushnoc, Grateful Grain Brewing Company, Moderation Brewing Company, Lone Pine Brewing, and many more.  Plus, Chadwick's Craft Spirits will be on hand.

Bands include the Juke Joint Devils, Random Ideas, and The Boneheads.

Food trucks include Bao and Beyond, The Blind Pig, Kabayan Philipine Food, The Gold Finch Creamery, Smokey & Brines, and Pinky D's.  Plus, there are some great local restaurants in the area around the event including, A1 Diner, The Depot, Canton Village, and Domino's Pizza.

Regular tickets - which allow access from 1 PM to 5 PM - are $40.  VIP tickets - which will let you in at Noon - are $50.  You can also get a DD ticket for only $10.
