Federal Agencies Searching For Whoever Stole Several Firearms From Maine Store
A very large reward is being offered to whoever can provide information that leads to the arrest of the person (or persons) responsible for a December theft that saw several firearms stolen from a Maine sporting goods store.
According to WGME 13, the theft happened back in early December, though the suspect(s) are still at large with the stolen property. The theft reportedly happened sometime in the middle of the night on December 8th at the J&K Sporting Goods store in the town of West Paris, Maine.
The news station says that the person (or people) responsible stole several handguns from the store during the December theft. Now, officials are desperately seeking information in regards to who may have been involved.
Now, the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has gotten involved. WGME is reporting that the ATF is now offering a $5,000 cash reward for anyone that can provide information that leads to an arrest in the case.
