There are some changes happening around central Maine that honestly feel long overdue, and we’re not mad about it at all. It’s funny how you don’t realize how much you needed something until it finally happens, and right now there are two things that have people pretty excited.

First, Bintliff's Corner Brew is getting an addition, and if you’ve ever tried to grab a table there in the winter, you already know why this is a big deal. The vibe inside has always been top tier, cozy, warm, and just right, but seating has definitely been limited when it’s busy (which is… often). Summer isn’t as much of an issue thanks to the outdoor seating, but this new conservatory brunch room opening this spring is exactly what the place needed. More space, same charm, we’re already obsessed.

And then there’s Fielder's Choice Ice Cream in Manchester, which is officially stepping into a new era, they’re taking credit cards now. If you know, you know: showing up with cash was basically part of the experience. But let’s be real, we’ve all had that moment of pulling up and realizing we only have a card. For one of the busiest ice cream spots in central Maine, especially in peak summer with those insane lines, this is kind of a game changer.

It’s little updates like these that just make everything easier, and somehow even better. Central Maine wins again.
