Heads up, Maine cannabis users! Another round of flavored vape cartridges has been recalled after testing positive for an unsafe pesticide.

If you remember, back in October, the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP) issued a recall for Yani-brand vape cartridges in the “Watermelon Chimera” strain, made by NorCO Outdoor Cannabis.

That recall was triggered by a consumer complaint involving an adverse reaction and lab tests confirmed the presence of Chlorfenapyr, a pesticide not safe for inhalation, WGME reported.

Now, the OCP is expanding the recall to include three more strains under the Yani label:

  • Apples & Bananas

  • Cherry Tartufo

  • Lemon Cherry Pie

All of these tested positive for unsafe levels of Chlorfenapyr, and the list of retailers has grown, too. Originally, 21 stores were affected, but now five more have been added in Auburn (2), Kittery, Portland, and Thomaston, the news station reported.

WGME went on to explain that inhaling cannabis contaminated with Chlorfenapyr can lead to some scary symptoms including high fever, sweating, nausea, vomiting, and even altered mental status.

Officials say you should check your vape’s packaging for a batch number. All adult-use cannabis in Maine should be clearly labeled. If you’ve got one of the affected products, either return it to the store or safely dispose of it.

Here are the products included in the expanded recall:
