Hannafords to Offer Special Shopping Hours For Those Over 60 and Those with Compromised Immune Systems

Hannaford Supermarkets in Bar Harbor and Ellsworth, as well as those throughout the State will begin offering special hours for those over 60 and those with compromised immune systems.

According to a report on WGME Starting March 24. stores will open early from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Additionally according to the Hannaford website, "As of Thursday, March 19, we have paused the Hannaford To Go online shopping service temporarily to redirect those associates to restocking store shelves as quickly as possible for all customers. Service will resume at the end of March. This action is one of many difficult decisions being made, amid unprecedented demand for product, to focus associates on replenishing items in our supermarkets as quickly as possible and supporting customers throughout the store in meeting their most-important needs"
