If you have been on I-95 around the Augusta area recently you have noticed the trees are missing!  Not just cut back but stripped down to the ground. BUT WHY?  Well, according to the MaineDOT the trees and bushes can  'block drivers' views of large animals, prevent proper drainage, and block sunlight that helps melt snow and ice in the winter.'  It is part of an over plan to keep this in check. OK I guess but, I like the trees. It feels so Maine. But my other question is what is happening with all the wood?
