As New Englanders, we all have an inherited love of Dunkin', right?

Most of us literally grew up going to Dunkin' (or, Dunkin' Donuts, as we called the place until just a few years ago).  As a child growing up in Aroostook County, we did not have a Dunkin' location.  So, whenever I had a chance to go out on truck with my dad I always begged him to take me to Dunkin'.  I am pretty sure that it was during one of those trips that I had my first donut.

Of course, this was back when most Dunkin' locations were more like old-school diners, complete with heavy ceramic coffee mugs.

I can still clearly remember the donut that I got.  It was an old fashioned with frosting and sprinkles.  And, it was on a stick.  For some reason, as a six year old, I thought that was the coolest thing ever.

The New Dunkin' Cold Beverage Bucket

This is the perfect purchase for the person who really loves their ice coffee!

According to Newsweek, the 'bucket', which is currently being tested at several Dunkin' locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, holds a whopping 48 ounces of liquid refreshment!

It is meant to be filled with either ice coffee or Dunkin' Refresher.  The ice coffee buckets cost about $9 and the Refresher buckets cost about $10.

Currently, you can try it out at the Lee (NH), Durham (NH), Amherst (MA), and Foxboro (MA) locations.  Of course, if people like it, we'll see it become available at more locations.

Personally, I love the idea, but it reminds me of one of those rum buckets that you'd get at a beach bar or a college bar.
