WABI TV5 Meteorologists Curt Olson and Emilie Hillman Are Engaged
Something is in the air, and it's not just the atmospheric pressure.
Meteorologist Curt Olson took to his Facebook page to share the heartwarming news. Sharing a couple of pictures on his Facebook page. One of the photos captured the moment he popped the question, while the other showed off the diamond. He humorously captioned the post with, "I know, I know... about time."
Well, Curt, good things come to those who wait – and judging by the smiles in those photos, it was certainly worth the wait!
WABI TV5 didn't miss a beat in sharing the joyous news with their viewers. "Your FIRST ALERT FORECAST is full of love – Congratulations Curt Olson and Emilie Hillman!"
In April of 2021, Curt Olson and Emilie Hillman became valued members of the WABI TV5 family. They stepped into significant roles, succeeding equally iconic Maine meteorologists Chris Ewing and Ryan Munn, who bid farewell to Bangor.
Curt serves as the weekday evening meteorologist, providing weather forecasts for the WABI TV5 News at 5, 5:30, and 6, in addition to the TV5 Prime Time News on The CW, and the WABI TV5 News at 11. Originally, Emilie was brought in to forecast Saturday and Sunday Morning Maine, along with the WABI TV5 Weekend News at 6 PM and 11 PM. She later transitioned to forecasting for the WABI TV5 News at 4.
Here's to clear skies, both on the radar and in matters of the heart, for Curt and Emilie. Congratulations, and may your journey together be as beautifully unpredictable as our Pine Tree State weather!
