Here's a great example of how chivalry is not dead. I think I can categorize this story under chivalrous? Either way, this showed me that people do still have it in them to make a connection with a stranger in person instead of through a phone screen.

Cute or creepy? You decide.

I was walking through a parking lot to go into my fav store (T.J. Maxx, duh) when I saw a cute boy in a big pickup truck notice me as I walked by him. I had gone in the store with my friend Morgan for about 45 minutes, and by the time we checked out, pickup truck man was behind us in line a few customers back.

Once Morgan and I got outside into the parking lot, we had stopped to talk about our next plan when pickup truck boy walked over to me and said "I'll be honest, you're one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen", and joined our conversation.

I thought his boldness was admirable. In a world where social media makes it so easy to call a woman hot in her DM's, and you start talking that way, this man shot his shot in person. I asked him, "Did you buy those shorts on purpose so you could sit in line behind me to try to get my number?" To my surprise, honest truck boy laughed and admitted to his whole plan.

What a cutie. And to ask for a girl's number when she's with one of her friends is pretty brave. I genuinely think this isn't creepy, but let's hear what you think in the comments! Honesty is attractive. Tell me you watched me walk into the store HAHA. Ballsy.
