So many things in life have seen a price increase over the last couple of years. That includes Amazon's Prime service, which includes free delivery to your doorstep in Maine for most items.

But if you've been an Amazon Prime member for many years, you've noticed that while the shipping costs may still be covered on most items, the shipping turnover has slowed down considerably. What once would be delivered in 48 hours can sometimes take a week or more.

At Whole Foods on Somerset Street in Portland, you'll find the Amazon lockers inside the store. The Amazon lockers are open during the same hours as this Whole Foods location, which are typically Mondays through Sundays from 8am until 8pm.

AAA in Portland

Inside the AAA location at 68 Marginal Way, you'll find an official Amazon counter that features lockers for retrieval. There is staff assistance on site for those that may need it. The hours for locker pickup at this location are Monday through Friday, 8:30am until 5pm, and Saturday from 9am until 1pm.

Broadway Variety in South Portland

For those that live in Cape Elizabeth as well as South Portland, Broadway Variety at 771 Broadway offers Amazon lockers with 24-hour pickup. They are located outside the store. This is especially for those living in apartments or with small mailboxes that want to avoid delivery issues.

AAA in South Portland

Located in the JetPort Plaza at 401 Western Avenue, similar to the Portland location, AAA in South Portland has a dedicated Amazon counter with locker retrieval. There is staff assistance on-site for those that may need it. The hours for locker pickup at this location are Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm, and Saturday from 9am until 1pm.

Found at 16 Main Street, the 7-Eleven location in Gorham offers Amazon locker pickup 24 hours a day. The Amazon lockers can be found inside the 7-Eleven store, which is especially convenient for students at the University of Southern Maine who don't want packages lost of stolen.
