The manhunt continues in Maine for the suspected killer from Wednesday night's horrific mass shooting in Lewiston.

According to authorities, over 300 members of law enforcement, including 80 FBI agents, are participating in the search for Robert Card. He is wanted on 18 murder charges stemming from shootings at the Just-In-Time Bowling Alley and Schemengees Bar & Grille.

With the law enforcement and first-responder community stepping up for Maine, local businesses are doing the same for them.

Several restaurants have posted info about free meals for first responders. This is an incredible gesture to the folks who are trying to keep us safe from the evils of this world. It's also just another example of Mainers helping Mainers.

Below is where you will find the latest information and postings from area restaurants that are offering or did offer free meals to first responders. This post will be regularly updated as more info comes in. Please feel free to reach out to let us know and we can add them.

Luchador Tacos – Auburn, South Paris, Windham

What a gesture from the popular local Mexican chain that has three locations all in and around the affected region.

Jeff's Jamaican Cuisine – Lewiston

The father-and-daughter food truck has been dishing out their delicious homemade Jamaican food free to first responders since Thursday. We believe it continues today.

The Mill House Pub – Mechanic Falls

Stealing an idea from a fellow restaurateur is never a bad idea, especially when that idea brings a community together!

LA Taco – Food Truck

You can find the truck on Center Street for lunch. We're unsure of how long they will be there.

Thursday

Here are a handful of the restaurants that helped out yesterday. Again, it's amazing to see the love in our great state.

Five Guys – Biddeford & South Portland

A simply incredible gesture by the burger joint. Thank you to all of those incredible employees. Thank you, Kayla, for the post.

Jimmy's General Store – Turner

It's easy to forget about the amount of work and pressure that is put on hospital staff in these times of crises. This is just a wonderful gesture from the popular general store proprietor.

Burnt Ends BBQ, Lisbon House of Pizza, & Sam's Italians

You can't ask for a better community. You really can't. It's just incredible to see all of this happen so quickly without any hesitation.

A huge thank you to all of these business owners, and of course our incredible first responders. Stay safe out there, folks.
