Britney Spears says she's moving to Boston.

Paramedics and police were called to Britney Spears' hotel in West Hollywood.

The IG declaration might be in response to an incident reported by TMZ.com.

Last Thursday, Britney and her boyfriend, Paul Soliz, were in their room at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, California.  According to the story, they had a fight, and Britney ended up leaving the hotel with her security team and without her boyfriend.

Whether or not she was kidding, Britney might be better off here on the East Coast, and here are three good reasons why.

Boston doesn't have paparazzi.

If Britney is looking to get away from the cameras, the only paparazzi I know of in Boston is an Italian restaurant. So if Britney does move here, she wouldn't have as much trouble with them.  It's not like they can chase her around the city.  Our roads are crazy confusing, so the high chase would not be an option.  They don't even exist here, as far as I can tell....yet.

Britney would blend right in here in Boston, especially in Southie.

If you've ever watched the movie, The Fighter, you may be familiar with Micky Ward's family and the gaggle of women he was surrounded by.  Those women ARE Boston.  Even Micky's girlfriend ("that %^&$ Chaaaahleeene!") is a really good example of Boston, although Amy Adams lacks that "edge" that Boston women have (sorry, Amy).

Boston loves Britney.

From what I can see in this video from her Circus show in Boston, she is well-loved here.  Why wouldn't you go where you are greatly loved?

One more tip if Britney decides to move here: she'll need vitamin D.  We have sunlight for about two months out of the year.

Britney reminds me of people in my family, so if she needs someone to show her around, give me a call and I'll get her a great Boston guide.  We get you, girl.
