One of The Best Pumpkin Bread French Toasts in Maine Comes From This Kittery Seafood Spot

If there's one thing that I love, it's breakfast, especially on the weekend.

This past weekend, my husband and I decided we were going out for Brunch.  I had wanted to go check out Warren's Seafood in Kittery, Maine ever since I discovered that they are now serving breakfast.

Fairly recently, Warren's in Kittery, an institution and a favorite for so many, has been going through a lot.  It was closed for a long time and for a while, fans like me of the restaurant didn't know it's fate.  But now, the restaurant has a new owner.  They are not affiliated, however, with the former Warren's Lobster House.

To say that the new owners, Kathleen and Paul, are hard-workers would be an understatement.  They are former Military and have kept the integrity and many traditions of the previous time in Warren's history.

Although Kathleen and Paul are not affiliated with the former Warren's Lobster House, they have kept the famous buffet, some of the décor and the view of the water is still gorgeous with the ducks swimming by.  Wanna hear Frank Sinatra as you eat, they kept that too.

One of the questions they got when they opened Warren's was, "Is the pumpkin bread coming back?"  A resounding YES was the answer.  Not only did they keep the pumpkin bread, (which you can buy a loaf of and take home if you like) but one of their breakfast items is "Pumpkin Bread French Toast."  I've eaten a lot of things in my life, but that is one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life... and I'm not really a french toast fan.

I don't know what they do to make it even MORE delicious than the straight up pumpkin bread, but they did.  THIS IS THE THING TO ORDER FOR BREAKFAST AT WARREN'S.  I know I'm yelling at you, but you will love, love, love it.  It is worth the drive from anywhere in New England.
