Jeff Dunham Returning to the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland

Ventriloquist and stand-up comedian Jeff Dunham is returning to Portland, Maine once again as part of his Still Not Cancelled Tour.

Jeff Dunham has made regular appearances in Maine at both the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland and the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. In 2008, before he packed houses all across the country, he did shows at the Collisse in Lewiston and the John A. Millar Civic Center in Houlton.

His television debut was on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1990, and Carson was so impressed with his act that he got invited over to sit on the couch. Here's his act with Peanut, José Jalapeño on a Stick, and back a the couch with Walter.

Jeff Dunham will be appearing at the Cross Insurance Arena on Wednesday, January 24, at 8pm. All your favorites will be there including Walter, Peanut, José Jalapeño on a Stick, Bubba J, and Achmed the Dead Terrorist.

Tickets for the show go on sale "to the public", as they say, on September 18 at 10 a.m. with prices starting at $59. If you can't wait that long, you can sign up for the pre-sale on the Cross Insurance Arena website.

There's a good chance this will be a sell-out, so If you miss out, Jeff Dunham has three more dates in Boston at the Wang Theater after the Portland show on January 25 through 26.
