Kelly’s Cause For Brain Tumors Augusta 5K Run is Back in Person This July, Sign Up Now!
After a multi-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Kelly's Cause for Brain Tumors is thrilled to announce the return of the annual Bob Burn's Memorial 5K on Augusta Maine's pristine Kennebec River Rail Trail.
Kelly Theberge of Vassalboro, has committed her life to raising money for the National Brain Tumor Society. Her dad, Bob Burns, passed away in 2006 from brain cancer and since then, Kelly has made this her mission.
Since the inception of Kelly's Cause, the foundation has raised well over $150,000 for brain tumor research and the National Brain Tumor Society.
This year's Bob Burns Memorial 5K will be taking place on Sunday, July 24th, at the head of the Kennebec River Rail Trail at the Kennebec Valley YMCA in Augusta and registration is open now!
