UPDATE: Whiting Man Wanted By Police Has Been Arrested
The Maine State Police arrested a Whiting man today (Feb. 16) they had been looking for for three days and charged him with a number of felonies. According to Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland, Robert Boggia was arrested at the home of his girlfriend on County Road in the Trescott section of Lubec about 11am. The State Police Tactical team assisted troopers with the arrest.
McCausland said Boggia was charged with gross sexual assault, domestic violence assault, robbery, burglary and theft. His girlfriend Nicole Phinney, 45, was also arrested and charged with hindering apprehension.
Boggia, who runs marijuana shops in Machias and Calais, had eluded authorities for most of the week. State Police asked the public for help yesterday through the media and on Facebook, and received a number of tips.
Boggia and Phinney were taken to the Washington County Jail.

According to Maine Public Safety Spokesman Stephen McCausland, Maine State Police are looking for the public's help in locating a 32 year old Whiting, Maine man.
Robert Boggia is wanted for serious felony crimes. He is described as 6' 1" tall and 185 pounds with blue eyes and a shaved head.
He was last seen in Whiting, but is also known to frequent Machias, Calais, and Ellsworth.
