Guy Flies in Balloon-Powered Lawn Chair, Uses Shotgun & Parachute to Get Back Down [VIDEO]

It took a while to figure out how to cram all that info into a two-line title, but we did it. Even more impressive is actually watching BASE jumper Eric Roner actually pull off all those moves.

Turns out it was a stunt for Rockstar energy drink, which is both a perfectly reasonable explanation and a tad disappointing. We were kinda hoping there was just some mad genius out there in the desert thinking, "Okay, but once I'm up there in my chair, how do I get back down? ... Hmmmm ... if I shoot the balloons, I'll fall to my death ... hmmm ..." and eventually he managed to figure out how to execute it.

Pretty cool that it all actually did work. It's not gonna make us drink that Rockstar stuff, but hey, nice work anyway. Here's the full video:
