When it comes to creating content on social media, you never really know what is going to go viral. Sometimes you can spend hours creating what you consider to be a perfect video with a hot take or a trending dance and you post it and get absolutely nothing.

Other times, you can throw something together in a matter of minutes and get thousands of views and likes. It's even better when a local organization that has been a pillar of the community for decades finds success with content on social media.

Earlier this week, we were sitting in the studio scrolling endlessly through the Facebook feed because, you know, it's our job, and I came across one of the most epic and local videos I've seen in a long time.

Our friends over at Augusta's Lithgow Public Library had posted a video that, at last check, had amasses thousands of views and likes. The concept? Cook books.... kind of.

The video begins with a lovely lady walking up to the desk and asking another lovely lady if she can show her to the cook books. However, as she's asking this seemingly innocent question, she passes over a hand-written note that is asking to be shown some 'spicy books'.

The whole encounter is absolutely hilarious and proves yet again why the Lithgow Public Library and 'their people' are so important to the Central Maine community.
