This Coastal Town’s Lobster Boat Races Celebrate More Than 30 Years Of Tradition

According to the Visit Maine, after event expenses are covered, all proceeds are donated to the Harpswell Santa Fund, which supports local families in need. In 2025, the event raised a record-breaking $30,000 for the fund, a reminder that this tradition is about much more than crossing the finish line first.
