Mexican food is my favorite of all time! Who doesn't love munching on chips and salsa and a cheesy gooey quesadilla, and washing it down with a margarita on the rocks with salt? In the words of Luke Bryan, "now that's my kind of night!" Of course, I love a place that serves up authentic Mexican cuisine, but as far as chain restaurants go, Margaritas puts out a pretty fantastic product.

According to the world wide web (aka Wikipedia), Margaritas was founded in 1985 in Concord, New Hampshire, by a dude named John Pelletier. Since that first faithful location, Margaritas has expanded with multiple locations across New England, and even a few in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The site states that the company is the most prominent TexMex casual dining experience in New England. I believe it!

The people of Brunswick, Maine, are about to be in a lucky, elite club of people that can say "yeah, there's a Margaritas in my town!" That's right, Margaritas is opening in Brunswick next to Pepper's Landing in the former Pet Quarters location.

There's nothing listed on their website or socials about it yet, so we're therefore not sure about an exact opening date, but we know it's slated to open this summer. We'll keep you posted every step of the way.

The Brunswick, Maine, Margaritas location will be the sixth location in the state, along with Auburn, Augusta, Ellsworth, Orono, and Portland.
