Maine Good Samaritan Struck By Oncoming Car While Trying to Help Crash Victim
Everyone is familiar with the old adage that "no good deed goes unpunished."
Sadly, I'm beginning to think that's more the rule than the exception, especially after a scary incident that unfolded in the Maine town of Kennebunk on Wednesday night.
According to an article published by WGME 13, a crash happened on Sea Road on January 8 at night.

The news station reported that, fortunately, a good Samaritan in the area saw the disabled vehicle and stopped to render aid until emergency crews could arrive on the scene.
While the good Samaritan was assisting the initial crash victim, another vehicle coming down the road ended up striking that person at the scene of the initial crash, according to WGME.
Kennebunk Fire-Rescue responded to the scene of the initial crash which involved the first vehicle striking a tree, the news station reported, and that's when they found the passer-by had also been struck by a separate vehicle.
