Maine Law Enforcement Seizes 4 Pounds of Fentanyl in Massive Bust
According to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson, Shannon Moss, Maine officials have seized four pounds of fentanyl in Sanford.
This amount of fentanyl is enough to create 3,000 individual doses totaling 1770 grams. Also seized were 188 grams of crack and cocaine and 40 grams of methamphetamine. A loaded 9mm handgun and cash totaling $19,822 was also seized in the bust.
A pair of Sanford residents were taken into custody from their motorhome on Pearl Street. Authorities had been conducting a nearly four month investigation on the pair.
Scott Huff 40 of Sanford, Maine was taken into custody on charges of Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs (fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine)
Eva Valley 30 of Sanford, was also taken into custody on charges of Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs (fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine)
